I know that the headlights are H13 (9008) but what can I replace the fog lights with. Can I use 9145's? I am wanting to upgrade to Silverstars as I have had good luck with them in my Excursion.
9145's will be just fine in your fogs. It's when folks want to put 9005's into the small housings that melting issues occur. FWIW, a 9140 is 40W, the 9145 is 45W and the 9005 is 60W. The heat difference from 5W isn't that great.
I've been running 9145's in my 07 since I bought in 2006 with no issues. I'm pretty sure Ford didn't change the lamp housings when they did their redesign of the truck in 2009.

I'm sure you meant LEDs - and yes, a number of owners on another site have changed them. They seem to be pretty happy with them (from what I have read, anyway).
I just got a new 2010 F150 a few weeks ago and I'm looking to upgrade bulbs. The local A&A auto had a set of PIAA's and some other brand of blue colored lights. I'd like to get a bluish tint bulb but they didn't offer any after market fog lights at all in any color.
Anyone have both after market headlights and fog lights that are happy that have a blue tint?
I don't want to spend money on an HID conversion kit yet. . .
I'd suggest a set of Sylvania Silverstar H13ST and 9145ST for both heads and fog lamps. They do have a slightly blue tint to the glass, actually a coating and offer a whiter/brighter (opinions vary) over your stock lamps. Buy online to save a few bucks. Just understand that high performance halogens have significantly shorter lamp life over your factory lamps.
I ended up getting some PHILIPS CRYSTAL VISION ULTRA bulbs in H13/2008 and 9140. I choose these over the Silverstars because they had the correct 9140 bulbs for the fogs.
The slight differences between 9140 and 9145 is nothing to worry about. But if you're more comfortable using the correct lamp, Philips makes some very good halogen lamps.
I think the 9140's came from the plant I helped set up years ago.

Yes, I know.
I have the Silverstar's in my Excursion and I kinda wanted to try out the Phillips Crystal Vision Ultra to see how they compare.
