Notice there is nothing left of the bushing kit. I was pressure washing the bay today in preparation of returning the engine to its home this weekend and say just a tuft of felt hanging there.
Does anyone know the ford part number for this kit?
Also, and more importantly: how in the world do I go about getting this kit onto the equalizer bar anyway? It looks pressed in at one end and the other end is obstructed by two brackets.
C1AA-7543-A Ball, clutch release equalizer shaft. Fits 73-up F100-350 5/8" ID, 1" OD, 1/32" Thick
97474-S snap ring, 9/16" ID, 23/32" OD, 1/32" Thick
358979-S Felt washer
There is no kit, just individual parts.
To install you have to unbolt the bracket from the frame, in the picture your bolts look kind of iffy, good luck.

Ha! Everything on here is a little iffy, which is most of the fun!
So, it sounds like the way to go it replace the whole unit: equalizer bar, mount, the whole shebang? The kits I highlighted, those seem like a good idea but I admit I'm flummoxed about how to install them. From what I saw it sure looks like the drivers side (right side in the pic) looks pressed into the bracket mounted onto the frame.
Once the motor is in it might be easier to replace the whole unit rather than a few bits and pieces.
Right now working in th empty engine bay is quite luxurious.

You are correct, the stud is part of the bracket.
Here is an illustration from the Ford parts manual showing the breakdown.
