2010 F250 4 WD PSD
Door sticker states 75 psi front and 80psi rear. Seems fine when towing but what are the recommendations for driving with no load. Anybody drop the pressure for a softer ride.

Tire pressure is based on the load they carry, although they always can be run at max cold inflation pressure, it is not necessary with lighter loads. If you know the weight of your truck running light or empty, you can simply look up the pressure to weight in the table for your tires.
The most straight forward way to get your answer is to scribe a chaulk line across your tires, then drive a block or two, then read the chalk line. Adjust the tire pressure until you get even wear.
I ran my stock 265-70-17 BFGs at 80psi all around, they wore dead even, and still had 5mm of tread before the wear bars after 43,000 miles. Best set of tires I ever had. I have 6k front springs, and the ride was fine.
Chalk line is good, also you can drive through some dust or dirt slowly, then look at where the dust is.
I have F350 with AT/ATX or something from Mich, factory options. I'm running 75 front and 60 in the rear. The 60 in the rear causes the low pressure alarm to go off though. At 65 it did not go off, and the ride was about the same truthfully.
