A/C blower problem
My son just drove my truck 96 Ranger 4.0 5 speed manual on a trip for 2 1/2 hrs and he says that the a/c was working just fine for 20 minutes and then he had no air flow coming out any vents. he stopped for a few minutes to get a bite to eat and everything started working again then after about 20 minutes again no air flow out the vents. I'm thinking that there is a relay that might be overheating and needs to be replaced. any ideas?

well I've checked the truck out and have found nothing wrong. the a/c works fine with me but i only drive it to and from work about 15 to 20 minutes. I checked the wires and relay that's behind the right headlight and seems to be OK but does get a little warm.

Check for evaporator icing. If the evaporator turns into a big block of ice, the blower will spin but no air will move. Tell-tale is a giant puddle of water under the vehicle half an hour after it was parked post-failure. Additionally, there may be visible frost on the evaporator outlet lines and the accumulator. Usual cause is a slight undercharge or a cycling switch that is stuck closed.

I learned a long time ago (the hard way) that "new" does not always equal "good". Any part should remain suspect until proven to be good.
