I don't have access to the truck at the moment, but I would like to get some replacement u-bolts so I can be ready when I replace the springs and shocks.
I can't seen to find the dimensions any where. All the places I look want to know the width, length, bolt diameter.
Does anyone know what these dimensions are? Thanks.
Your Ford dealer or a spring repair shop should be able to give you this information. I checked my Ford Service Manual and it did not list U bolt length.
You would think there is a chart some where that would list this kind of info.
I have been looking at some replacement springs online and even they won't tell me what size they are. No, I have not contacted the local dealer since it never seems like they have a clue. I thought, "what better place for info than the subject matter experts" like here. I am just surprised this isn't more readily available.
Doesn't anyone have a lift kit that comes with u-bolts? Say a 3 " lift kit that comes with 1/2" dia, 2 3/4" wide, 10" length. Well just subtract 3" from 10, and the rest is the same.
