FTE has a google ad for bigdeal.com and I wet to the site thinking it was a legitimate auction site and the more I investigated, it seems like they have their own bots bidding against you so you can never win....
jeeze, been in the puter biz forever and would think I cold spot that....
but....
IMHO - I wasted $22.50.....

Get Firefox and then install Ghostery and BAM, all those ads are gone or as someone will surely suggest, you can always pay to be a premium member. No more ads that way either.
Not an FTE but IB banner ad.... A guy I work with told me about the site, I questioned the buying bid routine but he has purchased from them at a good price. I'll stick with Ebay.
Just giving others a heads up with MY humble opinion....
I traced the bots bidding....

John, you in no way, shape, or form overstepped your bounds. What you did was bring something to our attention that needed to be. So no worries, you're in the clear
JD, I think you misunderstood Tor's post. He meant nobody mess with the ad you posted about.
Also, if they keep bidding against you so you never win, how did you lose $22.50? Or did you mean that even if you do win the bid, you lose because the bots make you spend more than you should?
always use a credit card and then dispute the charge.....a lot of companies in the scamming business dont want the attention from credit card companies.....
