Windshield Wiper ****

Can anyone tell me how the windshield wiper **** comes off? I need to tighten the bezel so I need to get the **** off. I assumed it just pulled off, but I pulled pretty hard and made no progress. Searched the forums and found nothing. Thanks!

My wiper **** doesn't want to come off either, but I've only got the single speed motor version. I've read about the type for dual speed wiper motors, and some switches that you pushed to get the winshield washers going, if you had that option? No idea if the switches all come apart the same or not?

Look at the back of the **** there is a little slot. inside this slot is a metal ring that locks the **** to the shaft. Insert a really small flat screwdriver in the base of the slot and Push outwards on the hoop this will release it.

Thanks,

I was figuring how to make the explanation simple. When i took my first slick apart in high school i broke a few until i thought it out. It is diabolically simple.
