I have had really good luck with Earnhardt Ford on Ray and I-10 on my older Vehicles they have several good techs that are well versed in the older super dutys. I use them as a last resort for all my ford's. They have not let me down yet.
Wonder if they’ll help over the phone 😬. I’m a bit farther south.

Got the overhead LCD Display out of the overhead console, that was a PITA. Could not get the rear clips to let go at all, had to unscrew it with only the front end pulled down but got it out.
I pressed down the little black circuits behind the display and it magically came back to life so it is definitely those solder points that seem to soften/melt and let go like online videos say. I don't have the fine soldering skills to fix it so ill send it off to the place that does it professionally.
Also got my backup camera plugged in, this time hard wired, do not waste money on the wireless adapter crap, didnt work.

changed the air filter and that helped smooth out the idle a little bit.
probably corroded wires at that point
Corroded wires at the connector or buried in the main harness? I also changed the ignition switch hoping something would wake up and nothing. So wires may start making more sense. Thanks
there's a dorman pigtail for the vacuum pump, so I would say this may be your best starting point... beyond that, maybe see if you can trace the wires back and make a bypass harness for it.
Nice to know. Didn't even think of trying that. Thanks
