What did you do to the X today?
We have our own separate 'siblings race' and 'grown up' races. At the end of the night they let the kids run their cars as many times as they like against who they wish (free for all) as well. Its all for fun and bragging rights for the grown ups.
Last year I raced the block just how it comes out of the box (had to drill just a few holes underneath to bring the block down to weight) and just put all the work into the axles and wheels. I only lost to the pack leaders "last years" car.
My son got 3rd place with his car. He was pretty stoked to get a trophy. He watched me building my car and just simply did the same things to his. We had a good time!

Drove the EX to the Ford dealer and bought the misses a new Expedition. Dont worry, I still have the EX and had no intentions of trading anything in. Although the dealer really wanted me to appraise it as he said he could have it sold the same day. This new vehicle will be our first try of an Ecoboost. I know it wont have the fuel economy they tried to tout when it first released, but it does go like stink when you step on it. Too dark for pics tonight.

Love it that you took over the dining room; derby is the cub event of the year.

Did a lot of driving in the Ex today. Just went back out to pull a friend off a snow pile and nearly got t-boned by a Honda Accord that blew right through the red light. I turned left and he turned right to avoid an accident but it was real close.
Hmm....what could I have used today? Oh, I know, MUD FLAPS!!! Gotta add it to my list.

You might not believe it cause I don't have pics or a video but I just pulled an 18 wheeler with a 48' trailer (he said there were only 4 pallets inside) up a slight grade. He was stuck on a patch of ice, but once we started moving we didn't stop until the top of the grade. He said he had a delivery so he stopped and he couldn't get moving again. No video or pics cause I had one hand on the wheel and one hand signalling out the window. Did it in 4 high. The truck driver was just as shocked as I was that it actually worked!
What a way to start the day!

I learned and am wondering how many people this effects. I tried to log on this forum on my parents computer and could not because of lag from all the adds. It would half load, then lock up, and quit responding, over and over again.
I don't get adds at home because I use foxfire and addblocker but they use just IE and no blocker. Got me to thinking how many other people try to view the forum and can't because of lag.
Here is a pic of my excursion.

Worked on adjusting stereo. The tech had the 6 speakers set to all pass on the new amp. I have a 10 inch woofer on its own amp so I set them to High Pass. It got rid of some clicks from the low bass being too much for the 6x8s at power. At least the power I like. I need to lower the setting on the bass amp as I barely turn up the vol **** under the column before its too much. I will adjust it so when I turn the stereo vol up to max, it still sounds good. I listen to a majority of my rock/blues library that way! I also use a digital recording to adjust, usually Brothers In Arms.. Then I adjust the eq for the old Classic stuff that need some help on the low end.
Picked up an engine donor today. Heavy bugger. The electrical system is fubar in it so it doesn't charge at all and the fuel pump either doesn't run or runs all the time (hooked to a toggle switch now). If you put the fuse back in for the alt it stalls out. I suspect a body module issue but I don't really care as all I'm after is the engine anyway.
This short trailer makes it a bit of a pain to get the weight distributed better. I probably could have moved it back a bit but I'd rather have too much tongue weight than not enough.
Mmm, 5.4 32v goodness
