Rear Fender Post-Mortem
I recently put a new bed on my truck - NY salt got to her pretty bad. In the post mortem, I cut it up and tried to solve the wheel well rust.
You can flush out the wheel wells very, very easily.
Stick a hose in the tie-down hole right above the rear wheels.
Flush it out a few times a year. Dump a cup or two of used motor oil in there.
If we all start doing this, I think the rotting bedsides will become history.
