I've been working with my son on our 1977 f100. When putting a set of headers on, we broke the dipstick. I found a part number on the stick
E9ue6750ca. It is a 30" long dipstick and have been all over. If anyone
might know how to find something like this, we would sure appreciate the
help.
Is it going in to the side oil pan or in front of the engine? If in front you can buy a chrome tube and dipstick for a early 289, thats what I did on a 84 302 , It show's the correct amount of oil.

Go to the 61-66 ford truck section and PM the "Numberdummy" give him the part number he should be able to do a part number search for you and tell you where you can get an original.
Ill look on the engine to verify that motor.
Called Green Sales, said the dipstick with that number
was for a Econoline 350 van with a 302. I'll find the engine
number to make sure. Thanks again for the support
You can get a universal dipstick from most parts stores and I'd assume you'd be able to cut it to length if needed, and use the original dip stick as a reference to scratch the fill level on the new one. They're in the "Help!" section with the miscellaneous clips, fittings, etc.
