my truck is due at the dealers this week of the 10th.
Bad news:
I ordered it Nov 1, 2002. 18 weeks and 2 days ago today.
There are people here who waited longer too.
Common consensus from all of them.

6 1/2 weeks and counting. No VIN yet, dealer has no new info. He feels "confident" it will be in this week. Doubt it. Drove two today, one new and one used. This was just a band-aid reaction I think. Oh well, Take it easy guys. Good luck Franklin!!!

Hi guys,
Well I changed gears this week and cancelled my order. Lousy dealer follow-up and no VIN or build date was available. As I mentioned, I still continued to shop new and used and I found a great deal on a truck about an hour from my house.
I bought a 2001 F250 CC Lariat SB 7.3 ,Camper package, reverse aid sensor, ESOF, Tan over black, chrome cab steps, tow mirrors, and in A1 condition w/ only 24,910 miles on it. My neighbor, a diesel mechanic , checked it out for me and said "I did real good"
It had to be A1 inside and out or I would not even have considered it. Also, the remaining 11k bumper-to-bumper was a huge plus.
I love this truck!! Driving down the road I find myself grinning. I almost have to pinch myself to make sure this is real. Bound to be my favorite vehicle that I ever owned!! Thanks for all the info. and input. Look forward to talking trucks, Ford trucks!

Yeah, it took alot of research and seemingly endless drives to dealerships to finally land an awesome truck. I love it! I didn't drive it today and I feel like I am in withdrawal!
Anyway, congrats on your new truck, you went through alot of waiting. But now having a SD truck, I know you love yours too.
