Diagnosed an 01 7.3L to be leaking from the non-serviceable plug. The truck was leaking so bad it blew enough oil out to shut the truck off. Added 3 gallons of oil and she fired up after a minute or two and I can see it leaking from the plug. Question is this. I have the kit from Ford that has o-rings for the discharge hoses and rear plug. I know International makes a kit to fix the non-serviceable because I have used it to repair an oil leak. Will one of those o-rings in Ford's kit work on the non-serviceable plug?
Bob was sending product out from the post office at RRE....... And he was on vacation!! Now that is customer service!!!
Jim, If that was a vacation, I need a vacation to recover from my vacation.

Josh, It all went out today and you should see it on Friday. The problem that you will have is adhering to the 24hr cure time for the loctite on the plug. If you try and get by with a shorter time, you run the risk of developing another leak on the plug down the road.

I purchased that upgraded plug and HPOP gasket when I bought my o-ring mechanics kit from Bob just in case. I think every glove box needs one of those kits, you just never know. All, right, done my rambling. Good going, you'll be on the road in no time.

He is leaving out early Mon morning and that 24hr cure time will be well adhered to. I told him he has to let it sit for a day. He doesn't have a problem with it as long as his 7.3L is pulling a camper Monday morning. Thanks Bob for your wonderful products and customer service
