HPOP non-servicable plug???

I have replaced the oring on the non servicable plug two times and now it's leaking again. After replacing oring it won't leak for about a year, but this time it lasted about 5 months. What will cause this oring to keep leaking? Tired of fixing this thing cause you have to remove HPOP to fix it every time. Any suggestion please!

What kind of o-ring are you using? Viton?

Threads have to be very clean. I also used the kit from international for the DT466 (I think) and it came with a new plug with more threads. A search should get you the part number.

Are you using Loctite 680 with it? If not, you'll see o-ring failure. It's meant to work in conjunction with the o-ring to make and keep the seal.

I used loctite 680 and plug with longer threads. Can't remember name of orings. Bought oring kit from diesel store online.
