Well, to the boss, it looks like I am doing the work of two people

I stole a coworker's computer after he left the company, but it had all kinds of problems. I formated it this morning, and am in the process of installing everything, so my old computer is set up on my desk too

The one computer is pretty much working by itself. I start an instalation, and then let it run. I need to install two years worth of CAD softwear for compatabiliy reasons. Each one takes 45minutes to an hour to install

Kinda of like wiping out a XP machine and reinstalling everything including all the service packs and updates, it takes all day!

Yes it does. I am most of the way through right now, but still got all the little things to do.

I usually wipe a couple clean every month just to freshen them up and get rid of all the crap.

Yeah, the one I have been using has been wiped once in the 2.5 years that I have been using it. The one that I am moving to is 2 years old and this is its first time. The guy that was using it had it so full of crap that I can't believe it functioned!

It also accumulates crap by installing and uninstalling programs, it leaves behind all kinds of fragmentation.
