Hello,
I just bought this 1988 ford F250 with extra cab (Supercab?) and the back seat is the bench that folds down into a flat shelf or platform.
My problem is that when I placed my childs car seat in and strapped it down with the lap belt it did not fit so well. I placed it in the middle and the top of the seat presses in the sliding rear window joint and the seat sticks out so far my little girl would not leg room have any leg room at all.
The front seat is a bench seat.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I hope I can figure something out.
Thanks
Dan
I have a regular cab, but I put my daughter in the middle using the lap belt there. You could mount some anchors in the top of the cab back there and use the lap belt and the achor strap for support
Hello,
Thanks for the reply, I am finding that the current rear seat is not a good fit for a child seat. I don't know if there are any other options for the rear.
I will just have to sit her up front.
Thanks
