One of my commercial A/c customers asked if I would come off the roof and look at his 2000 diesel f-350(i think). He said it cools fine for the most part but just every now and then gets very warm then repeats. For the most part it works normally. I put my gauges on it today, it was 90-95 degrees outside. On max A/C, I watched the gauges, I had a nice sweat back to the compressor. Supply air will reach as low as 43 before it shuts off(on low psi I assume) Its always at 20 psi at shut down and back on at 40 psi. I caught it about every 5th cycle not cycling back on. The suction psi would climb to practically 100 psi before cycling back on. The low psi switch was closed and calling. The hi psi switch was closed. The head psi was averaging 200 psi at an idle and 170 psi at 2k rpms. Any ideas? It seems to me that its a relay or a control that I'm unaware of. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a good customer. Thanks
