So I finally got tired of the smells and maintence costs and went and got me a 2005 f250 v10 crew cab, I can say it is completely different then my 01' or 02' v10 engine. this thing rocks!!
Picked her up for 20,500.00. Has 61,657 miles. Lariat crew cab, has the snow plow prep package. Not a ding on the thing! Was a little worried about the air ride in the rear as there is no springs however the dealer stated (and I have it in writting) if I did not like the air ride they would remove it and put it back to stock. Any have any thoughts on this air ride??
The air ride is just in the rear, it is a autoloc air ride system with the control in the cab. It also has a onboard air compressor to remove tires, fill them up etc. As far as how many Rigs I have right now just the 01' f250 v10, and the new 05' v10. Well I am not counting the Wife d%$ge mini van or the 15 year olds D&*ge dakota.
I love the rear suspension so far, the awesome thing is that it has a on-board air compressor. I ran my cut off tool last night after I put a optima battery in to cut off the mounting hardware so it would not hit the hood.
