I like the sound, it isn't v8 like a little flater less cackle
it is louder in the cab somtimes but not horrably so

Put a DynoMax Super Turbo on yesterday was worried about annoying my land lords (farm) and I love it
IT has a very deep growl under light lode and a nice snarl at wot can just hear it in the cab whith the windows up

At idle doesn't sound that bad 
. I wouldn't want to be towing for hours on end listening to that. Which doesn't mean it's bad it's just not my thing I like a little more of the OEM sound peaceful but yet powerful sound. 
Now put me in a piece of equipment working it and hearing the power of it. I'll listen to that through ear plugs all day long.
