was it made
oh ok... idk every bronco ive looked at has had a 302 or the 351... but they was from 92-96...
most of the 87-91s ive looked at have had the 302... some 351s but not many
and i was thinking if i could find another bronco that isnt rusted out and has a blown motor i could put a 300 in it and be a little different.... of course id have to make it mass air...
thanks for the info

I own one
My 92 Custom has the EFI 300I6 in it. It's all orignial except pait due to a minro fender bender a few years back. It originally belonged to my Father in Law who special ordered due to the fact that everything on the market around this area was Eddie Bauer, V8, Automatics and he needed a good solid Work truck type vehicle. I see quite a few trucks with the 300 in it but I'm the only 300 Bronco around that I'm aware of in my neck of the woods.
We're out there, we're just not well known.

The 300 lasted through the inception of EFI including the EEC-IV system. 1992 was the last year that the 300 was available in the Bronco line. The half-ton F-series line retained the 300 through the 1995 model year. The 300 never received the OBD-II engine control system or MAF so in 1996 the 6 that truly ran like an 8 was NLA.
so i guess if i was able to find a bronco with out a motor or a blown motor i could throw in a mass air 300 and maybe a E4OD or ZF and have a bad *** bronco that got pretty good fuel economy
i got another question and idk if anyone has ever done it but how hard would it be to put the 92-96 dash in say an 87-91 or even the 80-86

As far as the engine swap, you might have issues with the engine mounts on the frame. I don't think they are the same for the V8 and the I6. Not a huge deal but something to keep in mind.
As to the dash, I was going to do that on my 89. Swap all the stuff from my wrecked 95 F150. It is not a plug and play. None of the wiring will work. So unless you are willing to chase down every wire and change connectors. Also the wiring on the 87-91 going through the firewall is round and the wiring on the 92-96 is rectangle. So you will have some issues there as well.
So it would be a lot of work to do it. I said it was not worth it and stayed with the dash on the 89.
i could get I6 motor mounts for a f150 for that year and throw them in...
lol cutting and welding isnt a problem.... i just dont have a welder right now xD i want one of these Shop Lincoln Electric Pro MIG 180-Amp Welder at Lowes.com i know its nothing special but it isnt expensive as hell either lol
as far as the dash... we'll say i do it to my 88 couldnt i use my factory guages and just swap everything else over with a little moving around?
i know the column would have to be changed too but thats fine by me
and probably the duct work for the heat and a/c maybe even the controls?
but thats not a real problem unless the mounting braces for the dash are too different....
lol any one got pictures

If you are in no hurry of any kind, I can take all the pictures of the dash you could ever want from both trucks (95-89). But as of yet I still have no idea how to get a picture to come up in a thread. I know one problem I have is the size of the file for the picture is way to large to be posted.
I do all kinds of work on cars, love photography, and putz around with computers a little, but can't post a picture.
lol im not in a hurry
but u can upload the pictures onto photo bucket or on here into ur albums then copy the image codes and paste it....
i use firefox so i just have 2 windows or tabs open and drag the image into the reply box....
