48-50 F-1 Emergency Brake Setup
Thanks guys...and you too princess. Seems when I removed most of the crossmember I also removed the bolt holes for the retaining bracket. The cable won't stretch to the frame rail but I can mount it on what's left of the crossmember...
Would anyone happen to know of a source for the two little shoulder bolts that are used in the ebrake bellcrank lever mounted in the crossmember? I broke one bolt. I need one but would like two if I can find them! They are 5/16-24 thread with a very thin hex head.

This setup was used by Ford in various models from 1940-1952 and consisted of Ford Part 350373-S7 5/16-24x45/64 - drilled and secured with Ford 33977-S2 5/16-24 Castle Nut and 72015-S 1/16"x3/4" Cotter Pin. I don't have an immediate source, but will update here if I find something.
