Nice looking truck for a chevy. I would spend the 2k fixing my ford before being seen in it though
well the problem with that is that it would take about 2K just to get the ford to where this chevy is. and it still wouldnt have a turbo or near as much power/torque. that would get me a moose IP and maybe some pistons/rings for my 6.9
neither am i. its got a remanned VP44 on it and somethings wrong with it. it only pushes about 35-40% hp for most of the time. and then out of the blue for maybe a couple minutes to a couple seconds it will go back to full power and then back to the bog.... almost like limp mode but no check engine light
Can't help you with the batteries but my IDI is going to the junkyard in 2 days, and it's got brand new solder terminal - 3/0 cables on it, and a good-shape factory + cable on it. I'd make you a package deal.

well bring it on down. aslong as its all free truck and trip lol i dont have any money as of yet itll be here the end of the week lol but yeah i dont really feel like putting that much money into a wore out truck. sure everything in about 10 years would be brand new(ish) but... its served its duty to me. ive taken it places it never should have gone and it excelled. above and beyond the call of any pickup.

Did the lift pump get replaced along with the VP44? alot of times the lift pump is what took out the injection pump on the 24vs thats whay alot of dodge guys with the 98.5-2002 24Vs have a fule presure guage mounted on the apillar. Thats the nice thing about the standyne DB2 alot of times the transfer pump in the ip will pull the fule if the lift pump dies it runs like crap useualy but it runs and just replace the lift pump and you're good. Of coures the chevy DB2s spin backwards come on a timming chain on a diesel what kind of commy BS is that
replaced it myself along with the fuel and air filter.
we dont have the money for a set of gauges and a pod. we had the IP changed over a year ago and were still making payments on the bill...... over a grand still to go
well before he rebuilt it, with the 40hp marine injectors and runnin about 30 lbs of boost he hauled 13K lbs of aluminum with his from libby mt all the way to spokane. with no probs. it deffanitely knew it was back there and it was 3rd gear on the long hill out of spokane towards the airport but the pyro never topped 1000*
it cant be any worse than my ford lol a 12 foot inbed camper makes a 6% grade thats about 3/4 of a mile long makes it a 2nd gear venture(auto) lol
i couldnt remember the name. its close to 2 miles isnt it? ive been up and down it a few times i used to travel over to darrington, where i was raised, all the time. lol 9 hours with my mom driving 6 with me driving
yeah its probably about that.i have a few fishin holes and huntin spots east of town so in the fall and winter i drive it a few times a week and every weekend when the ice is thick enough to fish
