zoodad mod ?

Over in jersey we just had two heavy heavy rains and while driving I was thinking if I had the zoodad mod that water would have to get up into the filter. Has anyone experienced that happening?? or could you offset the hole so its not directly into the intake??

I know this has been talked about alot but I figured I would just ask and get new opinions.

THanks again,

-AJ

Had mine cut out for a long time with the 6637 and driven through some real downpours for hours, never had any issues and don't even worry about it anymore.

No, sorry I don't, I used a 2" hole saw and drilled three holes, upper, lower then the middle out so I'm guessing it's around 5 inches long and two inches wide. Don't worry about taking out too much. After cutting my header out for my 05 headlight upgrade, I know you can't cut too much.

I was thinking of doing new headlights but the newer style I think 05-07 were the same. What do you have to cut out for that??

The new lights are a lot larger than the old styles and some of the header panel will need to be cut out to allow room for the new lights. Several threads are out there for the proper way to do it.

This is the only picture I have of my Zoodad mod. You'll be fine, driven in many monsoons and blizzards without any effect. I have the Ford AIS filter as well.
