Question Telescoping mirrors...slightly OT

My Dad has an '05 PSD and it has the little mirrors on it. He recently bought a toy hauler to take his 1932 LaSalle to car shows in and he needs tow mirrors now. He really likes my telescoping tow mirrors on my '02 PSD.

Question, if he were to find a set of those mirrors off of a wrecked PSD, would they fit from model years '99 and up? Would the mirrors from an '02 like mine fit his truck?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes. They would fit. If he has power mirrors, some adapting of the wiring may be needed depending on the donor vehicle year.

Cool. We'll start watching the wrecking yards. There was a PSD in the yard in Conroe last week that had the front end caved in. I went out yesterday and the truck was gone. Someone bought it as is.

Thanks for the reply, Roland!

I do know the early 99's are fixed and wont telescope, so stay away from those.

I think '05 was the first year that had heat and turn signals built in. Not that he really needs the heat but still...

Scott, I put a set of these on my neighbors father-in-laws 05 PSD. He also had the paddle mirrors. Just takes some figuring out the wiring to make sure the mirror moves in the direction the switch is telling it to.

I put a set of the KoolViews on my '00 F250. Wiring plugged right in.

Mine have the heater in the mirrors, but I didn't run wires for them. 2 years and no issues with the KoolViews.

yes they fit. Yes they are expensive! Even in junk yards.

I bought a non-OEM one on ebay and its doing just fine.

friend has an '03 w/ signals and heat. I put '08s on mine, love them over the earlier tow mirrors.
