switching mirrors

has anyone switched from the dtandard issue mirror to the telescoping trailer mirrors? will the ones with the blinkers in work on an 02 SD if it has the samll power mirrors?

This should be a fairly simple swap. You already have the wires for the power, you may have to change connectors. You will have to run extra wires for the blinkers.

The Ford Part# for the kit is "2C3Z 17696-BAA" and lists for $351. Its not hard to do at all. You just unbolt the old mirror and bolt up the new ones.
