Ignition Analyzer 'how to' needed...

This is really stupid obvious for those in the know, but... I snagged a Sears Penske Ignition Analyzer at a sale today, and I'm wondering how to use it.

It's just like this one: Sears Penske Automotive Car Ignition Analyzer 244.21019 - eBay (item 370138281239 end time Jul-24-10 13:15:45 PDT)

Settings are Low RPM, High RPM, Dwell, Points, and Test.
There are only 2 leads - one black, and one red.

So, what do I hook these leads to? The small side posts of the coil???

Pointers on using it? I just rebuilt the carb on my 73' 390, and need to set the timing (I have a light), and idle speeds, etc...

I can't seem to find a manual for this Analyzer online - so, here I am!

Black to ground
Red to Coil TACH TEST or the NEG post on the coil.

LOW and HIGH RPM are the range selectors

dwell

i had one of those that was off on the dwell, i couldn't get my 74 monte carlo to run right for a year because i never thought to second check the dwell with a second meter lol
