i just bought a 95 powerstroke with 160,000 miles. i would like to put a chip in it but not sure if it is ok with that many miles.
and what is the largest hp/tq rating chip i can go with the stock exhaust. i plan on upgrading the exhaust later. i will be putting on a better intake system also. any suggestions would be great.
i also see people using the dual mode super chip programer.

and is it normal for a diesel to smoke alot when you first start driving in the morning. It quits within 1/4 mile(by the time i get to the end of my street) i let it run about 10-15 mins. before i left.
