so 5.4 said to be completely rebuilt.....sat most likely too long there after.......major blue smoke only on start up....after ignition all smoke is gone. approx 1L of synthetic per 500kms LOL (likes oil) seems to be cylinder #1 with all the issues, every 1500kms I pull the plug and hit it with the bench grinder.....one side of the plug has major (oil) carbon like build up on it so badly the plug doesn't spark anymore. compression tests read 12psi on cylinder #1 and approx 36psi on #2.....that's all I could take. added oil in sparl hole and retested.....26psi in #1 ......rings/piston of heads????I don't know if there is other ways to test methods?
you should have over 120 psi compression. It could be the rings, or it could be bad valve faces. Hard to tell without more info.. How about talking to the rebuilder ?? You could drain the synthetic and try regular oil, but that is some major usage...
I've seen issues like this when a "rebuilder" reuses a set of bad or worn valveguides. Even with new stem seals, the "wobble" in the valve will make it consume oil.

well I'm in the middle of doing a compression test on each cylinder....pulled all COP and plugs and attemped to turn over engine.....damn thing won't turn over now...lol
oh man....tested my compression tester and it is fault....took it apart and found no check valve inside it....figures.....4 hrs of testing down the tubes......man...thanks

Bad tester might mean good engine. Not a bad trade if it works out!
cylinder #1: with a sqirt of oil in the cylinder came up to 153psi
Well,#1 has a problem. It WAY our of balance with the other cylinders, and is most likely the source of your oil consumption. It could be valve sealing problems, or ring sealing issues. I wouldn't be surprised to see an oil ring problem.
