I went to the junkyard on Saturday myself. I found a set of sun visors that have the clips (mine didn't), a set of like new chrome window visors, a set of newer '92-'96 taillights (mine were '85), and an interior rear view mirror that is wider than mine. All of this I only paid $25 for. Praise the JY's. I'd like to find a really good bench seat like the one you found Incenter12, only in a different color (Gray).
It's an '85. I found those door panels while down in San Diego and did the wiring and swap in the parking lot of my hotel. I like them much better than the worn out panels on there before.
looks good. where did you get the center console on the floor and does it work well or does it get in the way when you want to slide the seat up or it's not very sturdy?
i really miss not having a cup holder when i drive my truck.
It's one of the universal ones from Pep Boys for about $9. It will get in the way if I were to try to slide the bench forward. I'm going to cut the rear portion off today and cut some holes for the lugs to hang it on the front of bench. I'll report back on if it works.
Cut a couple slots based on how high you want it off the floor. I should have cut these a little lower so it would stay up off the floor. To accommodate I put some clear packing tape on the front lip so it wouldn't catch when I move the bench
Install. The little slots don't go in far enough to allow the cup holder to wiggle itself loose. It takes a little force to get both lugs in place.
Finished with two good cupholders that are also adjustable.
