Adding Factory Skid Plates
I am looking for a set of used factory skid plates for my 07 XLT. Are the plates all I need? Is there any shims or brackets that need to be added or do these just bolt right up? Thanks.

You also need the bolts and clips
Here is a complete list of parts numbers
Engine Skid Plate: #4L3Z-5D032-AA
Engine plate bolts: # N606-704S4-39 (X4)
Engine plate clips: # N801-118S4-36 (X4)
T-Case Skid Plate: #4L3Z-7E063-AA
T-Case plate bolts: # W505-436S4-39 (X4)
T-Case plate clips: # W520-813S4-39 (X4)
Don't have any part numbers for the fuel tank skid plate though.

I have a 07 XLT too. I was wondering if you had any luck adding the skid plates to your truck. I would like to do the same to mine. If you did how hard was it to add the plates and could you give me a ball park figure on the cost? Thanks

I have not been able to add the skid plates yet. We had some equipment break at home so i dont have the extra money right now. As soon as I find anything out, I will post it here. It seems pretty simple, as long as you have the clips, which most of the part numbers for are listed above. Good luck and if you find anything else out, let me know too, thanks.

Yeah I will. I like the idea of having these skid plates installed on my truck. I like to play up the mountians from time to time and would really like the protection of the skid plates. I will keep you updated if I get them done soon. I am going to see if I can find them online and get some prices.
