Maybe Rhino Lining The Bottom Body Panels. Good Idea?

So I'm going to be needing some rocker panel work here pretty soon. I've been debating back and forth whether or not I want to Rhino Line to bottom section of my truck (like a two tone) to protect it from my 37s that love to throw rocks up on dirt roads. Has anyone on here done this before? What are the cosns to it? I'd be getting new rockers, some lower door work, Bushwacker fender flares, and the the Rhino Line. Opinions?

I'd do Linex Extra. Doesn't fade and is a little bit "harder."

I ahve Rhino in my bed though.

My buddy has it done to his 2500 and it looks awesome. I like hte look of it...

I plan on doing this to the inside of my doors, tailgate and on my rocker panels. I have some Durabak left over from when I did my bed so why not do it.

I had a friend who did Line X in his bed and loved it, so that would probably be the route to go. Anybody have an pics of how their trucks turned out? Also, I have some very minor rust bubbles. Should I just have them Line X over it or have them fix the rust first? Will the Line X stop it from rusting further? I'd like to do my rockers, inside doors, all along the bottom like a two tone paint job, and on my fender flares. Will it stick to Bushwacker flares? About how much would I be looking to spend on this?

you would have to linex or rhino both the front and the back of a bubble to seal off the air or the rust continues. the rust usually starts from the inside unless the paint has been scratched or chipped on the exterior.

you might want to try a linex or chipguard on the outside ,then get under her and spray the s--t out of her on the inside with fluid film.

You can Line X the whole truck. Expensive, but well worth it if you go through heavy brush (woods) frequently. No more "Texas pinstripes." Yes, rockers would look good. I am doing mine soon. I don't know if I want to go with black ($350) or paint matched ($750).

Four Wheeler had some pics of a truck that was sprayed out completely in yellow Line-X...it looked dang good. It would be great to do on a new truck that was 100% rust free, you wouldn't have to worry about rust eating it up. I keep looking under my 2010 that is nice and rust free but I can't figure out what I want to do, I can't see getting it Line-X'd because there is so much under there it would cost a fortune. What's the fluid film stuff? Can it be sprayed right over everything down there?

How easy will it be the keep the Line X clean? Does it spray off easy or will all the mud and grime be stuck in it?

fluid film is like a wd-40 with some sheep fat added . it cling well and acts like an undercoating. seals real good and stops rust.
