Put in a new oil cooler before you get it in there. I would not do the 1 and 1 head bolt to stud deal.

I've never been a fan of the EGR delete. I saw no reason for it as long as you remember it's there and you compensate for it and it's no big deal once you get used to it. I think for most people, it's the ole timers that don't want to adjust.

I would not do studs one at a time. Can you do it.....sure you can. Some people report success in doing it. However, you have one assumption that has to be true in order for it to work, that you don't have any problems with the heads (head gaskets aren't really the issue in of themselves) and there is a good seal. If it isn't good, you'll be digging in there again to do the whole thing again. Unless you know it's 100% solid, I would do it the right way from the get go and by "right way", I mean the way that you don't have to be assuming something.

Well, thanks I had my field day. yuall made my day, that I love ford owners for that < just like my flying, hangar talkers bodys. good old advice. in TN I got my truck now with a 6.0 ford GURU 200 + motor swaps,heis going to put this motor in as is and see what happens. thanks again friends.

What a lot of people don't realize either is that El Paso is at 4000 ft and gets snow quite often in the winter.
