stc fitting installed on a pump.





sorry not real excting but if you have done it right it should look just like this one.
this would be for a 2005-2009 6.0..... 2009 in not a typo they were still in the e-van.

the nylon nuts and bolts are there to hold the alignment tool to keep the "T" block on the same axis as the branch tube.
they are remove after the lock nut is tighten down and prior to installing the pump back in to the engine.

If I'm not mistaken, they're for proper alignment of the fitting. Once done, the nylon pieces are discarded.

That makes sense. I'm running the older pump but I have the STC update kit in a bag for future projects and I was just curious.

I had to order the 15/16s crows foot wrench online, no one local had such a size in stock. The instructions that were provided in the kit were very good.

Thanks for posting these pics. What is the torque spec for the fitting? My bag came sans instructions. It did however come with a new IPR screen and o-ring.

What is the part number for that. I have seen just the fitting and also a fitting with a connector bracket. I have an 05. Build dat of 10/04. Thanks for the help
