Tires and wheels need help?
I want to know what Company makes good performing wheels and tires and that look good on my 77 F-100 shortbox? I want somthing that pleases the eyes, and looks intimidateing (spell check) I donot want off road tires!!!! I want street tires and wheels. I like the look of the 5 star American Raceing/ American eagle, I also need to know a good Size Rim 15 x ? And also a good size tire ( front and back) I want somthing wide in the back and not as wide in the front. Kinda DRAG like. ? Anyone help me?

I am running 8X16 Outlaw II American Racing Wheels - 265/70/R16 Pirelli Scorpion ST Tires on a 1990 F-150 and it looks great.
I went with the 16" wheels because it looked goofy with the 15" wheels. I just think they are too small. I also went with the 265 tires to fill up that wheel well and it also made the truck look more agressive and stocky.
I would go into a tire shop and have them test fit a set on your truck to see if they will fit.
A good company will find an old wheel and stick an old tire on it to see if everything fits without rubbing.

Well, I wanted to have kinda wide tires in the rear and not as wide in the front. So I need to know the exact mesurements of your front and rear rims and tires?

My rims and tires are the same size all the way around.
Rims are: 8x16
Tires are: 265x70Rx16
Be aware, your traction will not be very good if you go with small tires and rims on the front. This is more of a hotrod thing to do. If you can cram those nice wide tires on the front and back, you will not regret it.

Ok not exactily what I was geting at. I want deep wheels in the back with wide tires, and regular street tires on the front. My friends truck has this setup and it hadled awesome (keep in mind I have power steering)
