I check into both, but I'm sort of like American made stuff. I got the codes today, there were about 9 of them all dealing with the FICM low voltage. My friend reflashed the FICM, hopefully this works.
It may look like bad luck but I suspect poor technician syndrome.
The part that scare me most is there were 3 different tech and one pulled the engine to do HGs and studs... I don't want to think there are that many bad techs
I too would like to think that there were not that many bad techs. My experiences on the RVNET site tells me otherwise. The techs here are the best in the game and they will tell you there are some real losers in some of the dealerships.
I think he did. Not sure if he checked the voltage, we were talking about removing the egr cooler (pros and cons). We did find the codes:
PO261, PO264, PO267, PO270, PO273, PO276, PO279, PO282, and PO611.
I believe they all have to do with the FICM. We are trying the reflash first because the long cranking time only happens on first start, then it runs fine all day. I'll find out tomorrow morning.
