Wire help
I posted this in the 73-79 section too, but then got to thinking someone here may be able to help too. Could anyone help me identify what this wiring is coming off the distributor? I do not like the way it looks and just lays on the manifold. Is there an upgrade or different system to clean up the look. Thanks.

Well I know the distributor is a Mallory Unilite, and I am assuming that wire system is some sort of resistor, but the fact that it just hangs there and lays on the intake manifold concerns me a little and not to mention I do not really like the look.

Is there another three-wire connector buried back there somewhere? With the Unilite, you should just have the three wires coming out of it, one to the coil (green), one the +12 (red) and one to ground (brown).
That box might be a rev-limiter or something given that all three wires go through it. No brand name on it whatsoever?
