Hey can anyone help out there. My 2004 150 has no reverse lights. Both bulbs are good....When I purchased this truck it did not come with owners manuals. Anyone know where fuse locations are for this truck?....Have read some other posts which people had this problem...if it is not the fuses which I think is not going to rectify...Where to go from there? Have read something about a DTR sensor on transmission? anyone have anything for me?
How did you determine that the rev. lights were inoperable? I don't know if this helps. I found the same issue with my '04 shortly after purchasing it. After I spent some time doing some routine troubleshooting, I determined that the rev. lights will activate only when the headlights are on. They do not come on during daytime driving, which I thought was odd.
Thanks for the manual!!!!....An update I found fuse #14 ( reverse lights ) to be good. But it is a 5 amp fuse doesnt seem right???....Found fuse #10 20 amp fuse blown!!!...says it controls trailer tow relay, parking lamps and Reverse lamps....anyone have a fuse diagram the panel on outside just has numbers and have no owners manual for guidance of fuse locations. I have not towed anything or even used tow hookup only have had truck 2 weeks. wondering why this fuse blew????
Hey also check out for sensor of reverse gear shift there must be some problem with the wires as rodents make them worse by chewing. If you a rodent problems in your area then this must be the problem.

The link I gave you will get you an owners manual. The diagram for the fuse locations is in it.
