need help decoding vin#
just bought a econoline van. been sitting in barn since 1980. owner cant find registraition need info. for mtv. and curious to what i have VIN# E15FH86464 w.b.90 - color L - model e150- body 389 - tanks c 01 -max.G.V.W 3650 089 -cert net H.P. 3800 25 he says his uncle bought from a navy or air force base [any help with this app.] thanks

The E15 is panel van
F is 170 engine
H is Lorain assembly plant
86464 is the van was built in July of 1966
90 wheelbase
L color is Dark Green
E150 panel van again here
389 Must be an error. The #3 is wrong, should be a letter.
The rest is gross vehicle weight and such.
