Looks real good compared to my 64. The two tone is an actaul factory style two tone. Your truck looks like it would not take much to get looking sharp again. 2 thumbs up on your find.

Thanks Mr. Wilson for the vin decode, Yea i guess i was happy to buy another E100, I cant belive it has 13 inch rims/tires my 63 had 14's, maybe a PO switched them?
I plan to use a 302 auto set up from the 79 parts truck, and i will need to find a replacement rearend, the one in there wont stand up for 1 burnout! I will post some more pic's in a Garage soon.

They came with 13" wheels. Now it is getting hard to find those rims. I finally got 6 of them after years of searching around here. Most people changed them to the 14" rims. Later years they became an option when buying the econoline van or truck.
To me it is a shame to change the truck from original, But that is your choice. Have fun with it.

Looks Like a decent truck. It would look great with a straight axle under it and a blown 460 mounted mid engine! Love that gasser look!

The early econos do have a straight axle under them. please dont tempt me with the 460! there are so many idea's and not enough money! i'm gonna stick with the 302-auto and a stock look for the outside.... for now, tomorrow? dont know

on a side note: i found a big six crossmember for 75 bucks and a 9 inch rearend for 400. Sux the crossmember is in Ky.

Yes, you are correct it does already have a straight axle under it however I was referring to an actual straight tube axle with 12 spoke Hildebrand wheels on the front, a narrowed 9" diffy, zoomie headers, etc. Well I think you get the idea!

66gpw, PM me. I have a set of 13" wheels and tires that are extraneous to my needs for my '64 Ranchero. Dan. (not to be confused with Ed.) lol.

Nice truck. It shows use as a driver, but it good condition. A 5 window to boot with the chrome spears down the sides.
I remember when you use to see lots of vans with the chrome spears. Now you just do not see them anymore.
Nice spotting>
