Starter problem?????
i have an 04 f150 FX4. every onece in awhile when i go to starter it i her a grinding noice. so im guessing my starter is bad. my question is, would i be able to get way with just replaceing the solenoid?

Mine has been doing the same thing (once every two months or so) for about 2 years. I was kinda wierded out at first. Now its just annoying. It has not yet failed to engage on the second turn of the key.
