CV joint boot
Is the outer cv joint boot replaceable? My drivers side outer boot has a small slit on it, just enough to leak a little grease every couple weeks..very small amount, and I was wondering if I can just replace the boot. I have seen those 2 piece boots and those r junk.

if the rubber is rotted, you got a problme. If it is just cut, i have cleaned it good with gas or alcohol on a rag, then put RTV in the splilt and pull the two halves together to glue it. Maybe rum a thin layer over the crack. Usse a tooth pick to push the RTV into the crack and drag over the top.
