2011 F250 options
I just picked up my new 2011 F250 4x4 loaded with everything. I mean everything I could select on the build to order page. IT has lot's of features except one. It doesn't have Homelink or Car2U garage door opener. I was just stunned that something as common as garage door opener was not included.
I felt like idiot for not selecting it, but more research - I found it's not offered on web site during building your truck. I checked ford parts and they do offer Adobe visor, mirror with Homelink. Local parts checked with Ford and they say it will not work.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Ray, I am not sure what homelink is but I had to go to the order guide pages to find the Universal Garage Door Opener order code 85D cost is MSRP $125. It is listed under optional equipment/ key interior options on page 12 of the 06/01/10 order guide.
and it is only available on the Lariat models according to what I see here. Sorry this is to late to help you but it may help someone down the road.
