Question Shock part numbers - Please?

I have a 2003 F-250 5.4 XL 4x4.
It's got X springs in the front and F-350 blocks in the back.

I want the Bilsteins.. Which ones do I order? Specific part numbers?
Where do I order them from?

Thanks

On Shockwarehouse.com, the F250 and F350 front shocks are the same.
The rear ones are different though.

If I have an F250 with the rear blocks from an F350, which should I buy?

I see the issue with the Bilstein BST Heavy Duty rear shocks... which I assume are what you want as opposed to the Bilstein 5100 shocks. The front shock is the same for the F250 and F350 - Part # F4-BE5-2818-HO. The rear shock for the F250 is Part# F4-BE5-C296-HO for a single rear wheel axle. The rear shocks for the F350 are Part# F4-BE5-2819-HO for the single rear wheel axle and Part# F4-BE5-C296-HO for the dually rear wheel axle. One would think that Part# F4-BE5-C296-HO is for the single rear wheel axle on both the F250 and F350.

The part #s are confusing, but that's what Bilstein recommends.

Someone at Bilstein technical may be able to shed a little more light on why the F250 and F350 single rear wheel models don't share a shock, their number is 1-858-386-5900

Hello,

I placed an order yesterday at Shockwarehouse for the Bilsteins that were meant for an F-250.
They are back ordered on the C296-HO, so I ended up taking the 2819-HO (intended for use on the F-350).
I called Bilstein and they said they are the same, except the 2819-HO is about 1" longer.

I can do these in my driveway, right?

hey, all.....reviving a thread here with hopes of help.
I haven't called in yet to shockwarehouse but wanted to get a set of bilsteins.

My two main questions are:
I see they sell bilsteins but they don't show up as available for my 06 KR F350 SRW 4x4. Just Monroe and rancho
Second question, though my truck is stock, can I use the 5100 series shocks and steering dampener or is a lift required?

Thanks,
i'm going crazy reading all the posts trying to figure this out.
