I hit 215* coolant temps today running around.
Yes it was HOT in CT today, outside temps were 101-102*
Is this temp OK?
The truck also weights 12,000 lbs.
I did a search but could not find the max recommended temp.
Thanks.
I am pretty organized w/ my info !!! Maybe we should get this into a sticky??
Say how do you like the Nitto's???
Just so I don't hijack................
Glad to help w/ the info Nice Work Truck!
I think a sticky is a good Idea. The Nitto's...I love them. They are wearing very well,They are as quiet as my stockers and they have good traction in the rain and snow.Their also nice because they don't have that "squishy" feeling at all.The most weight I've had on them was an 8000 pound trailer and they did fine.I would buy another set again.
Great! Where did you get them and how much (if you don't mind sayiong)?
I got them from Discount Tire.
I just looked and the 245/75-17 are $172 with free shipping.
My fronts have about 15k on them and still look great, I should get 30-35k out of them. I only got 25k out of the stock BFG's.
I have had the truck at 15,500 lbs ( 12,000 daily ) loaded with tile.
I also tow a dump trailer with a max of 10,000 lbs so they do get a work out but they have been awesome.
