05 Expy Front Brake Caliper Anchor Bolt Removal HELP!!
I went to replace my front brake pads yesterday and ended up aborting since I couldn't seem to find the proper tool to remove the caliper bolts. I have seen TORX T45 and T47 listed and 7" and #8 hex on this board and many google search results. I called my Ford dealer and their break specialist said 7mm hex. I tried both an 8mm and 10mm hex yesterday and 8 was to small and 10 was to large. Does anyone out there know exactly what tool and size I need to get this job done?
Alloro, you ROCK!! Funny you found that post as you were a big help for pgonza2723 too. Time to call some stores. I hope I don't have to mail order one.
A mile? I would just go there and wouldn't waste my time calling. By the time you get someone on the phone that had a clue as to what you're talking about, you could be there and see for yourself.
That exactly why I hate calling. I've seen these guys with my own eyes answer those "do you have this", "do you have that" calls. Most of the time they put the phone on hold, finish up with a customer at the counter, pick the phone back up and say, "nope, don't have it."
