i have a 1986 f150 302 fuel injected, auto trans, super cab. im having a problem with a rough idle. i have changed the plug wires and new plugs. also new distributer cap and rotor. i have cleaned the throttle body. it runns fine under acceleration. anyone have any ideas? i cant find a auto parts to check codes. they all say its to old and dont have the equipment. can i check the codes myself if so how. thanks
When I did mine, I roughly measured all of one size. Then I went to the supply house and bought a good length of that size. Then I just cut to length and replaced one at a time. I just kept doing that until they were all replaced. Oh, and I got an assortment of caps too.
