good day everyone, just an update got my 79 granada front end done so i could boot it out of the garrage got the scs in,washed out all the dirt on the box supports [lots] had to cut the heads off of 3 bolts for the box hold down bolts,it is now ready to come off, flipped on her back and i will clean the under side of the box and under coat as the truck was under coated at 1 time by the po it should be a matter of scaping off the loose stuff and re applying new stuff to protect from the elements canadian tire in canada has a real good in house under coat very sticky, and stays on i am amazed at the "solid" condition of this truck for being 32 years old and i know the undercoating realy helps i also noticed i have a plastic rear gas tank is this a normal thing for these trucks of is it somthing speicial?
