cowl vent power?

Can anyone give me their experience with the available options for power cowl vent. I see that mid fifty has one that bolts in directly and there is at least one other version which uses position switches to stop the motor and is cheaper by about half. Anyone have any experience with either, thanks

I have the MF power vent in my 55. works ok.. doesn't close the vent as well as manual (vent with new gasket)
needed to do this cause of the dash extension preventing the manual handle.

we have a little rocker switch to control it..

I made my own from a power seat motor - but you could use any kind of linear actuator. Cost me nothing at all as I already had the motor on a spare seat in my shed!
