Okay, so we all know about the dangers of EOT and ECT temps that are too high, but what about the flipside? Is there any downside to temps being too low when up to operating temperature?
I only ask this because I recently installed the new Edge Insight CTS and have been obsessed with these new-found sources of data. With the Innovative Diesel Street tune, I am usually around the 205-215 when driving around town. Yesterday, I drove about 100 miles roundtrip to pick up some trees with a 3000 lb flatbed after installing the Innovative Tow tune and saw temps in the 180-190 range. Even driving around town with the Tow tune (haven't changed it back yet) I am seeing 175-180 temps.
Thoughts on the "too low temps" question? Just curious....
