cool thread! I'm from New Zealand our national bird (that can't even fly !!) is called a Kiwi and we are often refered to as Kiwis when overseas.Cheers
Sorry to revive such an old thread, but I am a here and really enjoyed reading over this thread. Thanks for posting the link in the SPAM thread Bobby T from NM.
I am a guitarist as well as a HUGE car guy. I have been in several bands locally here in the Reno, NV area. (Nothing big, just local shows in Nevada and California.) Corrupt Silence has been what I am known by in that scene for several years. It's my Facebook, MySpace, etc... user names. I plan on incorporating it into my 1954 by the time it is done. I'm also known as Humpy due to my last name being Humphrey, but most boards reject that name due to it's apparent graphic nature.
COOL man, we had a thread askin what kind of music you listen to in your shop while your workin on your truck. Its been a LONG while back, but its on here somewhere?? I like the old threads bein brought back around.
When the internet first came into being I used my employee badge number from my employer at the time to setup my first email address. I have kept it every since. Makes it easy to remember for me, difficult for everone else.
While building my 51, everyone kept asking where that part came from and I said I made it so after alot of those questions I figured HOMADE would be a good name for the 51 and my username, it might be changing as my new tag for my 52 f6 coe wrecker is T-MATER because thats what all the kids it everytime I go out in it but for now I'm still HOMADE.

I was hatched in July 49, and my middle name is Mervyn. As near as I can figure, that's about when my ol' truck came off the assembly line. BTW, my first name is Earl. I don't mind being called mervy. The name of the #1 song on the hit parade when I was born was 'Ghost riders in the sky'. I am a bass player and have been for 46 years. The band I'm in now is 10 years old this New Years Eve. You can probably guess what tunes we play.
I have built and destroyed a few hot rods and muscle cars and I'm fortunate in being able to say I still have my Cobra.
I didn't mean to go on and on, on here but I have been lurking for a while and thought I might as well get it out there.
ps. I don't wear dresses.
